My Story

Busy, playful, confident, friendly - these are just some of the words that describe our little Peanut. He is just a happy little fellow who is looking for someone to be happy with!

We estimate that he was born around February 2007, and he weighs around 12 lb. His vet reckons he could well be purebred Norfolk Terrier - not that Peanut cares; he's a down-to-earth kinda guy.

Peanut likes all humans, but he may be a little bouncy for young or timid children. He greets most dogs with a wagging tail, although he will challenge some males, and he ignores cats. A typical terrier, he just lives to play, play, play - with other dogs, squeaky toys, kids, whatever. When he's not playing, he's running around exploring.

He's a smart little dog who loves treats and is eager to learn. He will respond well to training, maybe even to an advanced level. His foster thinks he'd make a great agility dog!

Like all Mikey's Chance dogs, Peanut will come to you neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and treated for internal and external parasites. His adoption fee of $225 will help offset the costs of his care. He is living in a foster home near Portland, Oregon, but we will work with an approved adopter anywhere in the Pacific Northwest.
