Meet Peanut! Hello, my name is Peanut, and I'm looking for someone who will consider me their little peanut! I'm a senior guy now, and I'm about 17 pounds, but with a healthy balance of snack-o's and excersize, I could lose a couple more pounds. Did someone say snacks? I love me a good snack! Actually, maybe a little too much, so make sure the kiddos in the household give me treats with an open hand so I don't mistake their little fingers as part of the treat. I love humans, and since my personality is everything great in the world, I could easily live with small humans. I also enjoy the company of another dog, no matter the size, though I've never been around a cat, so I don't know how I'd do with them. I have perfect house manners. I go outside to potty, and I don't need to be crated while you're away because I'm not destructive at all. I'd also love to go with you on adventures, so I hope you'll take me with you from time to time. I love meeting new humans and other dog friends, so I could go to the store with you to pick out my own treats if you'd like! I know there are so many choices, so I wouldn't want to burden you with that task! I do well walking on a leash, but if you have a fenced yard, that's cool too. I'll make sure to sniff all the sniffs in the yard and get lots of exceraize out there. I don't really enjoy my little feets getting wet, though, so you might have to do some convincing to get me out if it's raining. When you come home from work I promise to always be happy to see you and give you my signature smile! I love to smile for my humans, and foster mom calls me a little ham, whatever that means. In the evening, when it's time to wind down, I'll lay next to you or the kids on the couch for some belly rubs. When it's time to go to bed, I'd love to sleep in the big bed with my human or in a big fluffy dog bed with lots of blankets to make just right before I snooze the night away.
