My Story

Paxton is a big baby who likes everyone he meets. Think of him as an 81 lbs puppy! Given his large size, he would do best in a home that has experience with very large dogs. While he should not get any taller, he may still fill out a bit. Having said that, he has rediculously long legs. Paxton obviously has German Shepherd in him and then from there it gets a bit shady. Several secondary breeds have been tossed around including Doberman, Great Dane, Collie and Greyhound. Good natured, loving, and very playful. He rarely barks but has an impressive and booming bark. He does whine a bit when being ignored. We're not sure if it's just loneliness or jelousy. Perhaps he was used to being spoiled rotten and now is objecting to shelter life? He was an unclaimed stray so I guess we'll never know. He has not been tested around cats or kids. With children, his good nature needs to be counter balanced to his size. Please use your best judgement. He LOVES to play with other dogs though not all dogs can handle nor want to wrestle with a dog his size. He is crate trained but we don't know about housebroken. We'll keep you updated as we learn more about Paxton.
