Transports run every few weeks and we will have the dog on the next available transport once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time************ We are a volunteer run rescue and donate our time to these dogs. IF you are not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. Paws, an estimated 9wk old male, pittie/lab mix saved off the streets of Houston with his momma and siblings. We expect this litter to be a medium to larger breed family; adult male pit bulls weigh 35-60lbs on average. The family is currently in a foster home in Houston, TEXAS and can transport out of state once an approved adopter is lined up! Meet Paws! This handsome guy is the biggest gentle pup in the litter. Paws is one of eight boys and two sisters. He's always despite his size, played nice with his littermates. He mostly black, some white with brown on his cheeks. Named paws because he has the biggest paws out of his siblings. This gentle boy is sweet, calm, loving and a little clumsy. Paws is fun to watch play and looks like an angel when he sleeps. He is mostly puppy pad trained and eats with the others with no issues. Paws will be a great addition to a family who will spend time and train him. Paws had been socialized, loved and cuddled from day one and doesn't mind a warm bath in the sink. Adopting Paws, with his bubbly, loyal personality and big heart, will fill your life with puppy dog kisses. Don't let this one get away! Paws is still young, so he will need a family that can commit to training, socialization, and all the dedication puppyhood requires. His new family will need to continue with potty and start crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When he's old enough, he will be perfect for walks hikes, and bonding with his owners. Paws has not been around cats or kids. We always recommend a home with kids who respect and understand animal boundaries. For younger kids, we expect parents who will supervise and help teach appropriate animal manners. Paws is looking for a home who has an understanding of raising puppies into adulthood. This can be prior experience or someone who will seek support as needed (training, friends/family). Puppies bring so much joy, but also need intentional and committed attention. They need help socializing with new people, other dogs, leash work and basic obedience. Puppies under 6 months of age are placed on a spay/neuter contract until they are old enough to be altered. For puppies this age, someone needs to be home more than they are away as crating them for long periods of time is not conducive for their developmental needs. If you work outside of the home longer than 4 hours, please explain who will is available to spend time with this puppy while you are aware. If that information is not included, we will not consider your application. ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown.
