While on a trial adoption, we have learned that Patsy has NO off switch (yet) if she has a lot of visual & sound triggers, in the house and outside. She would be best in a quiet or secluded home setting, where there is very little (if any at all) visual stimuli (IE: lots of foot, bike or vehicular traffic, busy kids or activities outsdie that she can see through the windows). She also seems to over react to noisy vehicle sounds, creating an urge to chase them. So a rural or farm setting, without a secure yard, would not necessarily be an ideal situation either..
Positive things that we have learned about Patsy are:
She is great in the car.
Very dog and people friendly. The first few times at the off leash, she did bark at some men, but that only happened a few times; Otherwise, she is great at the off leash and loves to run after her ball but she does stay close when the ball is put away.
She Is affectionate;
Great at the groomer and generally fine at the vet (especially with a lick mat to distract).
