Hi, Guys, I'm Patch, for obvious reasons. I am the sweetest guy you'd ever want to meet. I may be more mature (I turn 11 years old this year) than some of the other dogs at HEA, but I still enjoy a good romp in the grass. After that, I'll rest companionably at your feet and maybe take a snooze. Ah, that's the life I'm looking for! My perfect forever family would be someone who is home all the time (maybe a retired couple…I would love to be retired too). I tend to get lonely when left alone for too long so maybe I could go with you if you take a trip in the car. I am not good with small things such as cats and little dogs (my smallest friend has been a basset hound) so I would need a home with either bigger dogs or no pets. I am getting a little arthritic so I would like a family that would exercise me but understand I am not an energizer bunny anymore.
