Parker is a male pure bred Golden. He was found as a stray in Putnam County completely covered with burrs. He has been cleaned up, neutered and is enjoying the good life at his foster home. Parker is a senior dog with the beginning of cataracts and not quite 100% of his hearing. He is very smart and is picking up the house training. It is doubtful he has ever been inside of a home, so everything is new to him and he is still nervous inside but is learning how sweet a warm bed is inside with the cooler nights. He is crate/kennel trained. Parker walks very well on leash and doesn't pull at all, rarely barks, doesn't dig or chew up things. He is learning what toys are and loves to play with them. Parker is a wonderful dog, calm and quiet just wants to be petted and loved on and has a lot of life to live yet.
