My Story

Pandora is a female, approximately two-year old Shih Tzu/Terrier/Pekingese mix (or possibly a Tibetan Spaniel mix) weighing 17 lbs. She is being fostered by SNIPSA in a home in San Antonio after she was rescued, severly injured, from San Antonio's Animal Control. In these photos, Pandora's hair had been shaved; however, her hair has since grown back in and she is lovely. New and updated photos will be taken soon!

A Good Samaritan rescued Pandora from San Antonio's Animal Control in April, 2009 and immediately took her to a veterinarian for evaluation. Surgery was performed on Pandora's eye and jaw. Pandora's eye could not be saved. In spite of all that Pandora has been through, and the pain she surely must have endured between the time she was injured and when she had surgery, she did not let it get her down.

Pandora is a completely ADORABLE little dog. She is VERY friendly, sociable, affectionate and lovable. She never meets a stranger! She is young and healthy, so she easily rebounded from her injuries. Her left eye is missing, but this causes her no problems whatsoever!

Pandora is housebroken. She walks perfectly on a leash. She loves for someone to throw a ball for her so she can fetch it and bring it back to throw again. She also loves sitting by your side or simply being loved on and showered with affection. Pandora does ok with children, but she prefers being with adults rather than children. She also needs to be the only dog in her home. Pandora has been spayed, she is current on vaccinations and she is microchipped.
