Hi there . . . I’m
Pal! That’s not just my name, but my goal in life too – to be YOUR Pal! My family moved away and left me behind; now I’m ready to start life anew with you. My foster day describes me as “a gorgeous, big, sturdily built, 1.5 year old Lab with a broad chest and big feet.” I weigh about a perfect 75 pounds.
So, bet you’d like to know a bit about me before we go home together . . . well, I’m housetrained and can “sit” for a treat that I’ll take gently. I’m content in my crate when you go out. In fact, when I hear the shower running, I know that’s my cue to go settle in my crate. Sometimes I just go in and play with my Kong. I like batting tennis balls around too.
I get along great with other dogs, cats and everyone I meet. I live to be where you are and would like to cuddle in your lap. Be ready for lots of squirming and kisses though! If you forget I’m sitting next to you, I’ll remind you I need a pet by putting my paw on your arm. At night I like to hop on the bed, give good night kisses, rummage around a little, check if you’re asleep yet and then hop off the bed and sleep quietly on the floor. Can you tell I’m eager for love and attention?
Being a medium energy kind of guy, I’m good on walks (and love ‘em), greet people politely and am content to chew on my toys. It’s best to keep your closet closed though because dragging shoes around is quite fun when I get the chance.
Hope after reading this you’re thinking, “Yep, he definitively sounds like the wonderful Pal I’ve been looking for!”
