I am a Spanish Galgo - I AM FROM SPAIN! "Que pasa?" Oops, I mean, "What's happening?" Ya say you've been lookin for a dog? Two dogs? We're right here, waiting! I'm Pablo. I'm about 2 years old. As you can see from my picture, I'm just a little scared when I meet new people. My life was very hard in Spain and I don't know who to trust. But I'm really a happy fellow! My sister, Pilar and I were turned in to the shelter in Spain just a few days before GAO returned to the United States. When Linda pointed to us and said "Them", we were so scared. What was she going to do with us? Where would we go? And what was that funny language she was speaking? Well, now we know. We also know what it's like not to be hungry all the time and very, very skinny. Now I'd like to know what it's like to have a home of my own! The folks at GAO love me, but it's not the same. I wouldn't really know, but I've heard the other galgos talking, whispering, late at night, in Spain. They talked about dog beds and hugs and treats ALL THE TIME and toys and, well, I could go on forever! But the things I've heard I could hardly believe! And they said that people in this country LOVE greyhounds! Can you imagine that?! Pilar and I have never been apart and we depend on each other, so we'd like to be adopted together, please.
