I look a little silly don't I...that's me for sure. I'm a silly boy who loves to play and play and then play some more. So if you're looking for a quiet, sedate, laid back Doxie, check out my Mom Delia. 'Cause I'm a spitfire always ready for play! I was rescued in early April with five other dachshunds from nearly despicable circumstances. Our owner was very neglectful and happy to see us gone. Perry took us immediately to his vet for medical care, and then brought us here to await new homes. I don't bear any scars from the neglect and am as happy as a little clam. I play all day and sleep like a baby with my brother Garrett at night. I don't have any health problems and have been given all my shots, as well as being neutered. I'm almost nearly done growing - at eighteen months of age -- although you'd think I'm still a puppy sometimes! I weighed in at 11.5 pounds at last checkup (4-1-09). Please have a safe area for my outdoor play, and time in your busy schedule for me each day. I thrive with attention and am super smart. So bring your best dog tricks and let's have some fun. Won't you please consider giving me a new home? I promise we'll have a ball every day!
