Otis was rescued on his last day at a kill shelter. Whew! He was on death row for catching a cold!! He's all better now and is in good health. He has been tested for tick fever, valley fever and has had an exam and comprehensive blood panels. Everything was normal. He got over his kennel cough quickly and is completely healthy and happy now--- just waiting for a new home!
Otis is tall and gangly and goofy! He is very sweet and affectionate. He is okay around other dogs and likes to play.
Otis is a young adult and still needs to learn basic obedience, like any young dog who hasn't had attention and training. He's about a year old, we think. He just needs someone to teach him and work with him - that's all, since he really hasn't had that yet. Normal dog stuff! He is very smart and should be easy to train. He loves to have room to run in a yard, so that would be essential for him. He is crate-trained now and holusebroken.
