My Story
Meet Oswald, a gentle giant with a heart as big as his frame. This lovable fellow is believed to be
a fun blend of Rhodesian Ridgeback and Great Dane, though it is his Ridgeback side that shines
through most prominently. His coat boasts a striking red sable coloring, a rich blend of reddish-
brown with distinctive black-tipped fur and a stunning face mask.
Although he is a larger dog, Oswald exudes a certain grace that is a joy to watch. His eyes, large
and inquisitive, reflect the kindness and intelligence that radiates from within. Oswald's
affectionate nature is undeniable; he's quick to offer love and companionship to anyone and
everyone he meets.
While Oswald's size and exuberance may require a bit of understanding, especially with smaller
children, his amiable nature makes him a wonderful companion for families with prior
experience handling larger breeds.
This delightful pup enjoys the companionship of other dogs, once they have been properly
introduced. He has had some struggles with dog reactivity, but is doing great with training, and
will only continue to improve with a consistent, patient, and strong owner. He has not spent
much time inside around cats, but is comfortable seeing and walking near them while on outside.
When it comes to care, Oswald is fine with a quiet day inside, but also loves to get out, whether
it's the beach or a local walking trail. On walks, he's a model of composure, walking wonderfully
on leash and very responsive to corrections. In essence, Oswald is an absolute sweetheart just
looking for his forever people.
