Oscar is a 2 year old neutered male Ridgeback/Rotti mix. He was turned in initially as a stray but after some digging learned that his owner had been the one to "find" him. Oscar is friendly, playful and smart. He can be timid initially of men but warms up quickly and is very food motivated. He has been fine with the older children in his foster home but is a large dog and would do best with kids over 10 years. Oscar is good with other dogs although can be an alpha male so would do best in a home with female dogs or as a solo dog. Oscar is crate trained, seems to be house trained and has nice manners. He has some basic training under his belt and knows some commands. Oscar is certainly a watch dog so would not be a good fit for an apartment. Inside the house he is lazy and lounges on the couch. Oscar is active outdoors and has lots of energy.
