Orphan Annie was found wandering the road on one of those 90 degree days.
We suspect that she may have been "dumped" by her former owner.
A good Samaritan spotted Orphan Annie on the road and took her home and gave her some food and water. She has been looking for Annie's owner, but no one has appeared. So Sally figures that Annie needs a new home. Sally already has two large dogs and really doesn't want a third dog.
