Such a handsome boy! Orion is a purebred tri-colored Border Collie. We were told he was 14 years old, but we don't believe it, he is in really good shape. He was an owner surrender after he was hit by a car and the owner wanted him euthanized. The car accident didn't do any damage, so that made no sense to us. They said he had seizures all of the time. When asked if they had him on medication, they said NO. We convinced them to surrender him to us so we could treat the seizures. It took 4 months before he had his first seizure. Now he is on a very low dose of Phenobarbitol and is seizure free. Phenobarbitol is a very inexpensive medication.. Poor guy to have lived with such ignorant people for so long......................
Orion loves people, puts up with our crazy dogs, and is fine with cats. He just needs a place to live out his life, being loved. He is very easy. He either lays in the kitchen on his blanket, on the landing of the staircase, or on the loveseat.
Who will be Orion's guardian angel and love him until he crosses over the rainbow bridge?
This dog's adoption fee is $50 (plus tax). This includes being spayed/neutered and a supply of Phenobarbitol. We have not done any vaccinations on him because of his age, it's not worth it.
