Adorable Oreo is all puppy. He’s a Jack Russell mix about 11 months old and 25 pounds. He is sweet and affectionate, and active like most puppies. Oreo has lived with older children, but gets excited and jumps up for attention. He can be a little mouthy when he gets excited. So we do not recommend a family with young children. Oreo likes to play with dogs and cats but he is a bit rough at it. He was afraid in the shelter but in his foster home, he is friendly and happy around people. He walks on the leash ok, but does pull at times. When left alone he can be destructive and likes to get into things as all puppies do. But he is getting better with time and patience. He likes to play with toys and a ball and doesn't mind sharing. He does need some help with house training but he is doing well at his foster home. He really wants to be with his people. Oreo is smart and quick to learn, but he does need more basic training and a family with some young dog experience. Oreo’s best home would have other dogs to play with and a family to love him and one who can give him an active and exciting life.
