Opal **Facilitated Adoption**

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. It breaks my heart to post this. We have come into a situation that is forcing us to find a new and loving home/family for our sweet, loving, smart, silly, loyal and gorgeous Opal. Sweet Opal is a 3-1/2 year old Boxer/Pittie mix who is also DEAF. We have had the pleasure of being Opal's family for nearly 2 years and have put countless hours of love and training into her. She has given us so much more in return! As mentioned, Opal is completely deaf. She is well trained in following many easy signs and other convenient methods of communication. Opal is nothing short of eager to please. She loves to play, snuggle, train, and overall just be in the presence of those she loves. She is good with all age groups with the understanding that she is deaf and needs to have her other senses respected. She is good with houseguests, she should be the only dog in the house and does not do well with cats. It hurts us to have to find her a new home, but our hand is being forced.
