The Co Founder of the rescue saw a picture of Opal in Mexico covered in Ticks and emaciated skinny. She was homeless living in the streets of Tijuana . We got her here and immediately took her to the vet for bloodwork and a 4DX test to make sure she had no tickborne diseases. Thankfully everything came back negative and her blood work normal! She is currently a medical status because she needs to slowly gain weight .It was found that she is deaf. She will need about a month for recovery and rehabilitation. Her personality is as sweet as pie! She just wants to be with her Hooman all the time. She is a lap dog. She is not too playful yet but that will come with time.
