My Story

Welcome Opal! Opal and her siblings joined our program from the Rock Springs shelter on 7/23. They were born in a very small town outside of Rock Springs and were raised in a loving home alongside their mama until they were 8 weeks old. Their odds of successful adoption in the small town they were born in were very slim, so they were then moved to the Rock Springs shelter in hopes of a new location increasing their chances of finding homes! Rock Springs is sadly overwhelmed with an incredibly high volume of animals and so they reached out to us at the AAC about this adorable litter! We are thrilled to have welcomed them into our program and can't wait to get to know them more. So far we can tell that they are very friendly pups who are eager to be with people! They will require some extra love and care so that they can learn how to be the best dogs. They are very smart, but are starting their training journey a little later than other puppies and will need some extra help along the way! THE AAC IS OPEN BY APPOINTMENT ONLY! To set up a meet and greet, please fill out a dog adoption application ASAP or if you have already submitted one with us, call/email to put your name in line. We will form a line like usual based on who has an active and approved application in. We will go through our line to set up a private meet and greet for potential adopters to foster. 307-739-1881 [email protected] Please note, Animal Adoption Center cannot guarantee the breed, composition or ages of our dogs as we usually have no history prior to them entering the rescue. We make every effort to ensure the dogs are healthy. Please know that our intention is to insure long lasting committed homes for the animals at the AAC. If we feel that an animal and a potential owner are not a good fit we reserve the right to refuse adoption.
