Onyx - ADOPTED!

Onyx is a loving, two-year-old black lab. He's small for his size and easily manageable. He is house-trained and can fetch amazingly well. His owners moved and were no longer able to care for him and give him the time he deserves. He is very energetic when he meets new people, but will calm down after about 15 minutes. He is great with everyone he meets. He has lived with another dog for about 4 months when he was a pup and has lived with a cat for the past 7 months.

Onyx is joining the New Hope crew this weekend. We will get him updated on shots, dewormed, microchipped and have him neutered. More pictures and info to follow

NEW HOPE DOG RESCUE is not a shelter. Our dogs are placed in loving foster homes. WE NEED FOSTER HOMES TO HELP MORE DOGS - CONTACT US TODAY!!!

Definitions:

Pending - means that we are working through the adoption process with the 1st applicant. We usually don't add the pending until we are pretty sure the adoption will go through (like at the home visit stage)

On Trial or Trial Visit - means that the dog is in their new home for up to 2 weeks before the adopters need to commit to keeping the dog. We want to make sure that everyone is happy with the new living arrangements! We allow this option for everyone except very long distance adoptions (too far to drive).

Adopted - you know!! A happy ending for a homeless dog. We try to let everyone know when we have the final word. Within about 24 hours, the dog's bio will be moved to our happy tails section!
