My Story

If you're not looking for a stereotypical lab pup who is going to be a big girl once she's full-grown, then move on to the next dog.  Onyx is a young lab pup who is going to be a big girl once she grows into her paws.  Right now she's about 45lbs, but she's still growing.  Onyx is the typical lab pup who will get into things to get attention, especially if she doesn't hae a playmate to keep her busy.  Onyx is very playful and high energy, but not ridiculously out of control.  Onyx plays long and hard with some of the other foster pups in the house and I think she would do better in a multi-dog home so that she doesn't get destructive.  She is potty trained with the doggie door.  She's not real sure about getting in the car, but does ok on rides once she figures out that it's a good destination she's headed to.  She loves playing in the mud, but not a huge fan of water.  She's a good girl on the leash, but will continue to do better with more practice.  Onyx plays hard and sleeps hard.  She appears to get along with cats, depending on the right cat.  She's not had any issues with aggression toward anyone or when around food.  I'm not sure how she is around kids, but I can't imagine once she's used to a child's activity level she wouldn't adjust.
