One Eyed Willy

One eyed willy is a 5 year old bully boy who spent his entire life chained in Flint before rescue. He is an affectionate, kind, sweet and bold dog who would do best owned by a female. Willy needs a home with boundaries, where he will always have his crate available to him for space when he gets a little too overwhelmed. (When company comes over, when hes feeling anxious, etc.) He loves walks, adventures and takes treats like a sweetheart. Willy has overcome so much in his life and he deserves the absolute best, and that would be someone who understands him and truly commits to making sure he feels safe and seen for the dog that he is. He will never be a dog park dog, or a super social creature, but he would make the ultimate best friend for someone who was opening to a bond with a loyal dog. Willy tolerates other dogs, but I wouldn't recommend trying to socialize him with them on a regular basis. He loves cats and does great with them, as well.
