My Story

Meet OLYMPIA, named to celebrate the Summer Games. This darling tiny girl is around 4 years old and fully grown at just 8 pounds. She's a short stack, maybe a dachshund/chihuahua mix (aka Chiweenie) with a medium length black and tan coat. Olympia is a cuddle bug, housebroken and crate trained. She's fine with other dogs, not cat tested yet. Little Olympia does like to share her opinions from time to time, not unusual for her breed mix. Olympia is a delightful little girl. She must go to a home in the greater Cincinnati area to complete the vetting covered by her adoption fee. If you'd like to meet Olympia, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog's veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. The deposit will be applied to the dog's final adoption fee.
