Ollie will be arriving in Medfield to find a new home on April 1st, and will be available to meet potential adopters after he is checked by our vet on April 3rd. This description was provided by the family that has been fostering him for several months.
Ollie is a very handsome 10-year-old Collie mix that was found as a stray dodging huge piles of snow and ice on a rural road. His paws had been bleeding from the conditions they had endured. Ollie had a microchip, but unfortunately there was no correct contact information on file. Since being in a foster home, it has been discovered that Ollie is quite an amazing boy and loves to smile :) He loves to be by his people’s side. He is great with dogs as the foster family has 13 other dogs and he is great with them. He walks great on a leash, is housetrained and crate trained. He is very well-mannered and has a wonderful disposition. He sits and shakes on command, but of course is more motivated to perform with treats. Ollie is the type of boy that is very sensitive and aims to please. He started acting much more comfortable after his foster family started calling him “Ollie” the name he was registered with on his microchip, so he is very attached to his name. He LOVES kids and enjoys waiting for the kids to get off the bus at the foster family’s house. Ollie will make a wonderful addition to a family.
