My Story

Ollie is a joyful 2-year-old smooth-coated tan male dachshund with a heart of gold. He is neutered, up-to-date on his vaccinations, and weighs about 13 pounds. He has a fantastic personality and is very smart, loving, playful, and intelligent. Ollie loves kids and people and is very social, so he would greatly benefit from a family. He bonds very quickly with people and is eager to please. Ollie needs to be the only dog in the home, as he acts out when around other dogs. Perhaps he will someday be more accepting of other dogs, but that is up to Ollie. It is unknown if he is good with cats, but a home without cats is preferred. Ollie is potty-trained, crate-trained, walks well on a leash, and needs daily walks due to his high energy. He responds best to gentle and patient training. He has been bounced around a bit and is waiting for a chance to finally find a family and a home that will be his forever.
