Odie

Odie is a cute black-and-white Shih Tzu and is approximately a year and a half old. He's adorable and absolutely full of himself! He loves to play and loves to wrestle with another dog of similar age and size. We would prefer that he is adopted into a home that has a pre-existing dog that is a good match for him. Odie and his brother came to us as Strays and their owners never claimed them. They were very matted but very happy and well adjusted. He is learning to walk on a leash And learning the house rules at the Rescue. He is a boy that is very eager to please. Like many of our rescue dogs, we do not know quite how well potty trained Odie is. But with a little time and patience and some consistency he should be a quick study! Odie is a coated dog (hair grows continuously) and will need professional grooming every 6-8 weeks. Odie's adoption fee is $450 This fee includes at least one health exam at our veterinarian while in our care, altering, all vaccinations including rabies (as permitted by age), a pre-adoption professional grooming and a microchip with lifetime membership that never will cost you a fee. All dogs also leave with a new collar and or harness and leash as well as a gift bag which includes among other things, a starter bag of the quality kibble that is being fed at the rescue. Adoption fees also allow us the ability to put funds towards the next homeless or unwanted dog in need of rescue!
