Oakley

Calling all lovers of handsome active lovable chocolate Labs . . . Oakley has joined us! He’s 5.5 years old and 75 energetic pounds of Lab love. He lived with his family and was well cared for since he was a wee pup, but their growing family and busy schedules made them feel a home with more time for Oakley would be best. Oakley is a very happy go lucky, high-energy Lab who is happy to meet anyone, ready to play any time and loves going out for car rides. He has a wagging tail all the time! He enjoys a bath and doing just about anything with his Peeps. Faves include fetch with tennis balls, herding his big ball, playing and running through sprinklers, and playing in the snow. He is also a Lab who relishes hearing he’s a good boy and soaking up affection. Oakley is house trained and will show off his sit, paw and spin for you. He lived with another dog and was tolerant of her bossiness, except when it came to trying to get his food. Oakley is friendly and playful with other dogs. Cats? “Love to chase ‘em!” he woofs. The ideal home for Oakley will be an active one that can give him a lot of affection and attention. A large backyard for him to play in and perhaps another dog pal would be great. He’s no couch potato! Oakley adds: “I’d like people who I can snuggle with at night because I love to be petted and snuggle before bed.” Note: Oakley is a very active Lab who has shown us he is head shy. For these reasons, a family with adults or teenage children is required.
