He can be timid and fearful at first, but once he is comfortable he is sweet, affectionate and playful. He loves being with other dogs and people, once he is comfortable. Nyx can be easily startled, so we do not recommend him in a home with children. He was found chained to a wooden kennel with dirt floors and it seems that is where he had spent his life, poor guy. He will need a calm, quieter home and environment. Nyx is not suitable for an apartment/condo/townhome and will need one without cats.
