Meet Nyx
Introducing Nyx!
Nyx is a handsome Shepherd (and possibly Collie) mix who is approximately 6 months old and currently weighs 21 pounds. We rescued this little guy, along with his sister Echo from the Weslaco shelter in South Texas near the border of Mexico. Nyx is a typical happy, playful puppy! He is very sweet and enjoys romping around, exploring his surroundings. He is curious, social and enjoys being held. Nyx is having fun learning to play with toys and is very smart and cuddly. He is growing everyday and really wants his forever home.
We can really see him doing well in a home where he can get lot of attention and playtime with his family. As with any puppy, we know Nyx would benefit from basic obedience training to help him learn good manners which will give him a good foundation to be the best puppy he can be.
He would be a wonderful companion to grow up in just about any family environment. We have no idea who mom and dad are so we can only estimate that Nyx will be a medium to large dog full grown. He is just a fun, happy puppy who can’t wait to find a home of his own!
Nyx is located at our rescue near San Antonio, TX. He is neutered, up-to-date on all vaccinations/shots, microchipped and his adoption fee is $375. A meet and greet will be arranged with an approved application.

*Nyx tested positive for Chagas disease and has started treatment. This is completely curable after treatment and dogs can go on to live long and happy lives. Our rescue is one of the first to do Chagas testing for all of the dogs in our care and is having measurable success in the treatment protocol. We are also focused on continued education and awareness of Chagas to help even more dogs. For more information, please review here: https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/chagas
