URGENT Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Houston, TX
Meet Nova! She is an 6 year old Miniature American Shepherd mix (the other breed is unknown) and weighs between 25-30 lbs. She is spayed and microchipped, but isn’t up to date on shots, or on heartworm prevention. Nova is good with kids! She hasn’t been tested around cats. She can be nervous when meeting dogs at first (stays by her owner), but warms up after a while. She is scared of bigger dogs and will bark at them. Nova has some separation anxiety but does well if she gets a treat before the owner leaves. Her owner is surrendering her because she is unable to provide the attention that Nova needs. She needs a new home by 7/31.
If you think you can provide a great home for Nova, please contact the owner listed below. There is a rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Nova.
