North Pole aka Dewey (name he responds to) is a beautiful boy, under a year old. He was surrendered to our rescue because a family member left him behind and the rest of the family didn't want him. He was being kept in the yard at all times and it appeared that he had never met another dog. But it only took a few hours for him to become part of the pack at the rescue and he is great with cats too. He was also around small children in his previous home. He currently weighs 30 lbs and is sweet as can be. Not a barker, walks well on the leash, potty trained, and does well in the crate. He is fully vetted and would love to find a real home.
He was adopted to Portland from Oklahoma but through no fault of his own he was returned because his new mom was overwhelmed with two dogs. He is now in a foster home in Bothell WA looking for his forever forever home.
Vetting: neutered, microchipped, rabies vaccine, bordetella vaccine, dhpp vaccine x 2, lepto vaccine x 2, dewormed, heartworm tested, on monthly heartworm prevention, on monthly flea and tick prevention.
