My Story

SEPTEMBER 10, 2007

Volunteers took North pole mushing and here is what they had to say:
He is a larger but quite stocky boy. Black/brown/white with blue eyes. 55+ pounds. He is one of these “clunky” looking dogs that surprises me when put in harness. He is a VERY hard worker. Nice lope. He did crab a bit when he was trotting but he was pulling hard wanting to go faster. He can be quite shy at first and is a little hard to approach at the shelter. But often these dogs that just get dropped off at the shelter need some time to adjust to their new surroundings. He is a powerhouse of a boy. Would make a good rec dog. No dew claws.

North pole is an approximately 50 # male. He is a little shy, but warms up quickly. He is a trained sled dog.
