Nori

AN INQUIRY FROM PETFINDER IS NOT AN APPLICATION! READ THE ENTIRE POST FOR INFORMATION HOW TO APPLY. Meet Nori! Nori is 10-ish year old, female Papillon and she weighs about 9 pounds. She arrived at animal services and was not claimed. Nori has settled into her foster home and is patiently waiting for her forever home. Her foster home has a cat and two fellow canines, all of which Nori was wary of for first couple of weeks. She still is not thrilled with the fur friends invading her personal space but she is happy to plop down next to them, but she wants it on her terms. She is housetrained on a schedule, likes a leash walk with halter, quiet on car rides and is excited to meet new people on her terms. She doesn’t like being left behind and did bark while foster parents were gone. She has lessened this behavior with time but we feel a home with no shared walls would be best. As Nori preferably needs new acquaintances to be approached on her terms we think a home with no children under 12 years. Her favorite thing is to be in the backyard with her nose in grass exploring, a home with a fenced backyard is needed. Nori is hard of hearing but responds to claps when she is in fenced in backyard and comes to this signal. She is very gentle sweet girl who can really get the zooms when she gets a wild moment. She will need patience and space in her adoptive home transition. Nori is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm negative and receives monthly flea and Heartworm prevention. Nori is fostered in the Orlando area and her adoption donation is $250.
