Nora Jean

Meet Nora Jean !! Tiny, feisty and super sweet little girl is looking for great home. She’s very energetic and is NOT A LAP DOG. Nora Jean is a 7 month old Yorkie/Chihuahua mix best guess. She currently weights 6.5 pounds and is close to full grown. She will be spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccines as part of her adoption. She is heartworm negative. This sweet girl just loves everyone and everything. She is all about living her best life. She is extremely spunky! She is always under your feet or bouncing around. She’s got a decent amount of energy and can be busy around times. She does also have a relaxed and snuggly side at times. She gets very attached to her people and has some anxiety when left but is doing much better with it. Nora Jean needs a family that understands she will still need to be exercised daily just like a large dog. She does great with a fenced yard to run zoomies in or other dogs to play with. She loves dogs of all sizes and loves to play. She came to us with a boxer named Hailey (posted separately) They do great together but do not need to be adopted together. Nora is great with big dogs and loves to cuddle up with them. We are unsure how she would do with cats. She was raised with several kids and does well with kids as long as they don’t treat her like a toy. A fun and playful kid or dog in the home would help keep her exercised and happy. Nora Jean is a puppy and she is still learning. She rides great in the car in a kennel but will whine a bit at first. She can be a bit busy in the car if left loose. She is decent on the leash but moves back and forth a ton and gets under your feet. She is crate trained and will run in on her own and wait for her treat however she can be very vocal when left alone. She is that way both in and out of the crate when alone. She is learning and doing much better each day but would not be a good apartment dog. She can be very loud while adjusting. Nora Jean is not fully potty trained. She does understand going outside but also will still go in the crate or in the house. She will need work to improve this. She does best when reminded to go while she’s outside. She will get to playing and forget. She’s had no trouble sharing food, treats or toys with other dogs or humans. She loves chew bones and toys and playing with her doggie or human friends. She also loves being outside or anywhere you are. She is always up for going on an adventure with you or watching TV on the couch. She is very social with everyone. Nora Jean is a very special dog with so much potential. She has a great personality and loves other dogs and people.
