Meet Nora your fuzzy new soul mate! Left at a shelter after 6.5 years with the same family, Nora is understandably a bit lost and confused. She is very intelligent and is looking for a strong leader to provide her guidance. A bit shy with strangers and new dogs, she takes some time to adjust. Once she gets to know you, you are a forever friend. Always up for an adventure, Nora will take any trip regardless of the destination. She rides wonderfully in the car and is very laid back. Nora is also happy to just stay home with you and loves belly rubs and to cuddle. Nora has developed a liking for people food, and under the fluff, she is a bit chunky. This summer she has made some “lifestyle” changes and is shedding those extra pounds. She is looking for some people who will continue to support her weight loss with diet and exercise. She loves walks, running and hikes and is well on her way to the new slimmer Nora. Due to her uncertainty with new things, Nora needs to be in an adult only house and would be best as an only dog. With the right people and consistency in her life, Nora will be a wonderful companion. She's housebroken, spayed, up to date on shots, and microchipped.
