Meet adorable Noodle! This 3 yr old Jack Russell mix is a special dog who requires a special home. We are looking for someone who lives a quiet life and who is very patient and gentle (with no young children) and will give Noodle the time he needs to blossom. Noodle is a very fearful dog because of (we suspect) abuse when he was a puppy. Noodle takes a long time to learn to trust. Even after 6 months in our care, he is not comfortable being picked up and will not walk on a leash. This is why he requires a fenced yard attached to the house. He LOVES other dogs (and is fine with cats!) and for this reason we hope we can find a home for him with another dog who is confident (or 2 or 3!) who can continue to show him "how to dog". The video highlights many moments when Noodle is not feeling fearful and you can see just how much he can enjoy life without fear! We continue to work with him on confidence building positive training techniques and hope this can continue when he gets adopted. He has come a LONG way in the time we've had him, certainly! He does seek us out for attention when he's in the mood and is SUPER cute when he asks to be petted. He is not the kind of dog who you can take places and take for walks ... it will take more time for him to get there. He is also extremely fearful of visitors and needs to be closed in another room of the house when new people come over.
