Nona is a 6 year old spayed female Chi mix. From her foster -Nona is very shy in the beginning due to past trauma. She appreciates a slow introduction and a patient home. Once she warms up, she is eager to call you a best friend. Empathy towards her and giving her a chance to trust her surroundings will create an amazing bond. Nona will not let her adopter down. Her heart will flourish once she’s adjusted in a new family. Nona is incredibly sweet and gets along with other dogs and multiple people in the home. She’s also extremely trustworthy not to chew anything in the house. She’s a cuddle bug after 4 days of trust building, Nona will not wear a collar-a harness is a must she’s very sensitive about her neck being restricted. Want to Adopt? 1) Fill out an application on theluckypuppy.org The adoption fees for puppies up to 12 months are a minimum donation of $600, (dogs too young to be fixed will have an extra $200 deposit, refundable pending your spay/neuter agreement), 1 year and up are a minimum donation of $500, 7+ years or special needs are a minimum $400 donation 2) Once your application is in, our adoption coordinator will contact you and complete a vet check and home visit (possibly electronic). 3) Once approved, please schedule a meet and greet to see the dogs. Meet and greets are by appointment only for approved adopters. Nona is available in NY through the Go North Program of The Lucky Puppy Rescue, rescue based in Bonifay and Panama City, FL and adoption center in Argyle NY (NY Lic #1054). The minimum donation $500 adoption fee includes transportation from FL to NY, spay/neuter surgery or spay/neuter agreement (if too young), up to date with: age appropriate vaccinations, de-worming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention (if old enough) and martingale safety collar.
