She was a great Mom and her puppies are happy and healthy in their new adoptive homes. After being fully vetted it was realized Nina had heartworm disease, She has now undergone successful treatment for this and is ready for her own happy ending. Nina is smart, loyal, loves being around her people and laying on the couch. She is shy and timid at first but once she’s comfortable will be by your side constantly and give endless kisses. She is strong and stubborn but is doing great with learning her inside manners. She is crate trained but she doesn’t love it. Nina would do best in an active home where someone was home most of the time with a big yard and a minimum 6 foot fence. She has a strong prey instinct and will go over a fence to chase a squirrel or bird. She would love long walks and hiking with the right training – back to the squirrel thing ?. She is very food and treat motivated which supports the positive reinforcement of her training.
