My Story

ADOPTED!
Nikita is a very mellow, sensitive, loving dog and she enjoys being with people. She rides beautifully in the car and will sit and wait patiently for her owner to return. She is mostly housetrained and does not jump up on people unless she wants or needs something. Nikita has been around other dogs (as well as cats, which she will chase if they run). She howls instead of barking, and she does have a prey drive (to chase deer, squirrels, etc.) if allowed to run free. Consequently, we prefer to find a home with a fenced yard for her (no tie-outs or electric "fences".) Nikita has a great disposition and knows how to "sit" and "shake hands". She is definitely an indoor family dog and is good with older children who have been taught to treat a dog with respect. Nikita is about 3 yrs. old, weighs 45 lbs, is heartworm negative, and will be microchipped prior to placing her with her "forever" family. Her adoption fee is $200 to a special household, preferably with (older) children and/or another dog. THIS IS A COURTESY POST.
