Niihau and his siblings were taken from a home in southern Indiana and placed in rescue just before being taken to the shelter. His mother was a high golden retriever mix but was jet black and long haired just like Niihau so she may have had some flat coated retriever in her. These pups are smart and social and will be over 50 pounds when grown. If you are interested in adding Niihau to your family please send an email of interest to [email protected] and we will send you an application. They will be ready for adoption on Friday October 14, 2010. The fee to adopt this pup is $410 and includes his neuter, up to date vaccinations, deworming, microchip, quarantine, health certificate and transport. All pups come with 30 days free pet insurance.
