Nicky is an 8 month old female sheltie mix. As you can tell by her picture she is mostly golden, she also has little white feet, and her ears perk up when you talk to her, her tail curls up over her back..
What you cannot tell by her pic is just how petite she is, Nicky weighs 18 pounds and should not top out at anything more than 20, if fed properly. She is a great size for an active person who needs a smaller dog or for a family with children. She is not appropriate for a household with children under the age of 5 years!
Nicky is quite energetic, loves to play ball, and would be a great running mate. She does calm down easily and is very well mannered in the house and loves to snuggle while watching the t.v. Nicky has done well with house breaking and uses a doggy door with ease, she is very smart and learns things quickly. Nicky does need some patience as she is young and will chew and sometimes dig if she gets bored. Nicky also loves other dogs and plays until she drops with her foster brothers, we know she would make a great companion for a lone dog.
