MEET NIA! - Nia is in a foster home, please contact the shelter to schedule a meet with her! Nia is a very sweet 8 month old pup enjoying some time in a foster home. So far while in fostercare we've learned that she loves playing chase and wrestling with her 65-pound big foster brother. She truly enjoys the company of other dogs so having another dog is a plus but not required for her. We've also learned that Nia is a great snuggle bug and enjoys cuddling her human companions and gives lots of kisses before falling sound asleep! Nia quickly mastered leash walking and is a perfect walking/hiking companion. She also loves all kinds of treats and is eager to learn whatever youre up to teach her. She can be quite vocal when trying to convince her brother to share the toy or if she is looking for attention from us. Being still quite young, shes on the path of being house trained and trained to use a crate along with all of her other foundational behaviors helping her learn to be a perfect little pup! If she sounds like the pooch for you please consider making an appointment to meet her! Nia is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and been seen by our vet team. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements.
