My Story

Meet Nessie!! This sweetheart has lived a hard two years of life in an Amish puppy mill being bred because “purebred” pomsky puppies are so expensive. She was used and abused until the next victim was old enough to breed and Nessie and her siblings were useless. They were to be killed unless a rescue stepped up to take them. Supporting rescue alliance and their amazing fosters couldn’t allow these beautiful lives be thrown away like trash. We took all of them and we have been rewarded everyday since. These dogs are wonderful. Nessie is enjoying her life inside at her foster moms (maybe a little too much she really doesn’t even like going outside but she will get the hang of it!) Nessie is working on house training and is living with other small dogs (Nessie is only around 20 lbs) that are helping her learn the ropes! She really likes the other dogs so it would be perfect if you had one! She is sweet and loving but shy at first because she hasn’t met nice people until just recently! She is so submissive and just wants to be near her people. Nessie will be available as a foster to adopt because she still needs some vaccines and to be spayed. All of the vetting is completely covered by the rescue but the adopter must be available to bring her to her appointments in Hamburg NY. They will be scheduled before hand so you will know she days she will need! Her adoption fee is $600 to help cover some of the costs we have incurred.
