Hi! My name is Nene. Kinda a silly name, but what do you do. I was found wandering around South Central Los Angeles and ended up in one of the high-kill shelters. Luckily for me, I am such a very nice boy, shelter volunteers worked to make sure I got out of there safe. Whew! Close call. I am about 5 years old, medium size and very nice looking, if I do say so myself. I am friendly and get along well with everyone and everything!.. i now live with Smiley, Fanny and Murphy in the kennel office and take my job as one of the kennel "greeters" very seriously .. i make sure everyone feels welcome! I am a calm and well behaved, ride well in the car and am just a general all around great guy. I am a bit overweight, but nothing that a regular exercise schedule and a few less treats won't fix in no time. I love my new friends at the kennel but could really use my own home.
