Nemo is a wonderful young man, who was adopted from us as a wee baby in November and found himself abandoned at a Denver shelter recently.
He is confused as to why his family has lost interest in him, but his foster mom promised him the RIGHT family is out there somewhere!!!
Nemo is a very people oriented guy, on the smaller side of medium and is guessed to be part whippet or grayhound .
Contrary to his breed, he is not a runner, as he does has a deformed foot which causes him no discomfort or pain. It looks bit funny though, and does cause him to walk a bit goofy. Whether it is a birth defect or an early injury/trauma, we will never know… but it caused him no problems as a baby, and still doesn’t seem to bother him a bit as a young adult!
Nemo does great with other dogs and puppies in his foster home and is house trained.
We are REALLY hoping to find Nemo a home where his funny foot won’t offend anyone, and where he will never have to be worried about abandonment again!
