I was the cutest bundle of fluff my family had ever seen! They HAD to have me and showered me with love. Then I grew up and became a beautiful dog that they were proud to show off to their friends. It was fun, for awhile. Then the little kids that used to play with me grew up and got friends of their own. I started to become more of a nuisance to the busy day to day activities of my family, so they put me outside in a kennel so that I wouldn't be underfoot. Then they sort've forgot about me - sure, I got some food and water, when they remembered, but I was mostly forgotten by them. I didn't forget them. I didn't forget playing tag, chasing balls and sitting on the floor with the kids. I had alot of time to sit and remember the love, but it was sad to think about my family while I was sitting alone in the cold. One day, I had to leave my family. Even sitting in a kennel was too much trouble for them. So I went to a shelter. It was scary and loud and smelled terrible. The other dogs were afraid and I could sense that it was not the place that I wanted to be. Lucky for me, a rescue took me to a nice foster home where I got a bath, some good food, and they decided that I was still a nice dog, worthy of being inside again. I love being in a house! I am showered with love like I used to be! I hear that I am a pretty boy and I think that they are proud to show me to their friends, just like it used to be. I love people and I love other dogs and I even do fine with cats. I want to join my forever home soon - I still have alot of love to share. I haven't forgotten being loved; it's a good feeling.
