This little guy is cute, sweet and spunky as all terriers are, but will require a calmer home. Nelson is a bit shy around new people, but is looking for someone with patience as he meets you. If you go slow, he will definitely warm up to you sooner. He is getting to know our volunteers and has started working on leash walking, and understanding a leash is okay. He would do best with a fenced yard and older children due to his timid nature.

Pet Refuge was formed in 1978 to help with cats and dogs in need of homes. We are a limited admission shelter that supports our local animals control facilities by helping take in the overflow of cats and dogs from their facilities. We also take in owner surrenders as space allows.
