Neighborly Norman

Meet Neighborly Norman! Norman entered Los Angeles Animal Services - Chesterfield Square as a stray, and when he wasn't claimed, we scooped him up on March 28th to become a Frosted Face. He is about 12 years old and weighs 18 lbs. Poor little guy was filthy when he arrived and was so good for his bath. Very shy at first, Norman has now come out of his shell! Because Norman is vision impaired, he can be easily startled, so it's best to make him aware of your presence before petting him. He needs a little time to feel comfortable with someone new. Then, as you can see in the videos, he enjoys sitting on laps, being petted, and getting his belly rubbed! Norman went on a two-week Frosted Fling, so we could learn what he is like in a home. His Fling Mom took Norman to Dog Beach, and he had fun playing in the water, making new friends with dogs of all sizes, and had a perfect beach day. He did really well staying close and coming back when called. His Fling Mom shares: "Norman went paddle boarding today! He was such a chill dude and is a perfect companion for any adventure! He loves people, dogs, kids, bunnies, and making new memories. He's an old dog with a young soul. Norman truly is the ideal pup for any home, come snatch him up!" Be sure to watch the videos of Norman - could he be any cuter or sweeter?! Norman had abdominal surgery on July 8th to remove a foreign body and was neutered at the same time. Thankfully, he is recovering while on another Fling and getting lots of TLC in the comforts of a home. Check back for an update on how Norman is doing!
