Negrita

Hi I'm Negrita, I hope my new family will come up with a new name for me but for now, I answer to Negrita. I am a bit shy with new people, I think they need to earn my trust, like maybe with some good treats and lots of good loving. I will admit I have a few quirks, like walking into houses...it kind of freaks me out. I am not sure why, but it does. So, I will need some patience with that. I don't like car rides much either, but I think if I am with my family, I will get used to it. I like to go for walks, my foster family takes me on really long walks and I love it. If you have children, I am ok with that, I don't live with kids now but when I am with them I mostly just sit quietly and watch them. Now cats and I don't get along, I love to chase them but for some reason, they don't like that. If you like going to the beach, then you are my kind of family. I love the water and know how to swim well too. If you have another dog in the family, I am sure that after a good introduction, we will get along well. I am still young with lots of things to learn but I am getting pretty good at Sit, Come and Stay. My foster says I am very easy to handle. Mostly I am a cheerful, happy dog who loves to be with my family and if you were going to be my forever family I would be a very happy girl.
